These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, online tools, booking forms, and services offered by United Developers, LLC, doing business as UD Roofing ("United Developers," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this website, requesting an inspection, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Who We Are

United Developers is a licensed roofing and exterior-restoration contractor serving Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Licenses: MD MHIC #111971, VA Class A #2705183185, PA #192325. Principal contact: (240) 880-2108, office@udroofing.com.

2. Services; Estimates Are Not Guarantees

We provide roof inspections, repair, replacement, storm/hail/wind restoration, and related exterior services. Any inspection report, price range, satellite or online "roof quote," scope, or estimate provided through this site or by our representatives (including our scheduling assistant) is informational and preliminary only. It is not a binding contract, a guarantee of price, a guarantee of insurance approval, or a guarantee of scope or timeline. Final pricing and scope are set only in a written, signed agreement following an on-site inspection.

3. Insurance Claims — Our Role

United Developers is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. We document storm damage and provide a clear, line-item estimate that you may submit to your insurance carrier, and we can meet your adjuster on site. We do not file, adjust, negotiate, interpret, or "handle" your insurance claim on your behalf, and we do not, and cannot, offer to pay, waive, rebate, absorb, or discount your insurance deductible. You remain solely responsible for and in control of your claim and your communications with your insurer.

4. Booking, Communications & Consent

When you submit a booking or contact form and check the consent box, you authorize United Developers to contact you at the phone number and email you provide — including by phone call, our automated scheduling assistant, text message (SMS), and email — for purposes such as confirming and reminding you about appointments and responding to your request. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask to be removed from calls/texts at any time. Your consent to receive calls/texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. SMS communications are also governed by our SMS Messaging Terms. Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy.

5. Use of the Site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to: misuse forms or submit false information; attempt to gain unauthorized access; scrape, overload, or disrupt the site; or infringe our or others' intellectual property. All site content, branding, photos, and copy are owned by United Developers or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

6. Third-Party Tools & Analytics

We use third-party services (e.g., analytics, advertising measurement, scheduling, and communications providers). Where required, tracking technologies load only after you accept them via our cookie banner. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The site and all preliminary estimates are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Workmanship and material warranties, where offered, are stated only in your signed services agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Developers and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on any preliminary estimate. Our total liability for any claim arising from the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless United Developers from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these Terms (excluding disputes governed by a separately signed services or construction contract, which controls for that work) will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Montgomery County, Maryland. You and United Developers waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing office@udroofing.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where the consumer-protection law of your state of residence (MD, VA, or DC) provides mandatory protections that apply.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
