We are noting that discrepancy rather than quietly picking one, and we treat the Maryland Department of Labor database as the authority. The licence number is identical in both sources, so verification is unaffected. Maryland requires this licence for home improvement work performed on residential property, and it is the licence that backs the Maryland Home Improvement Commission Guaranty Fund.
Virginia — Class A Contractor
Virginia licensure is currently in renewal and is not being held out as active. We are not offering or performing work in Virginia until renewal is confirmed. Virginia's Class A designation is the tier without a monetary cap on the value of a single contract or on annual contract value, which is the tier a general contractor needs in order to run whole-envelope and multi-trade projects rather than only small ones.

Before work begins on your property you can ask for a certificate of insurance, and we will have the carrier issue one naming your property. This is a routine request and you should make it of every contractor you consider. Workers compensation in particular is the coverage that determines whether an injury on your roof becomes a claim against your homeowners policy, and it is not something to take on trust.

- Check the Maryland licence. Open the Maryland Home Improvement Contractor public query, search by registration number, and enter 111971. Confirm the status, the licensed name, and the expiration date.
- Check the Virginia licence. Open the Maryland MHIC licence lookup, choose the contractor board, and confirm any Virginia contractor licence class and status before hiring for Virginia work.
- Check the BBB record. Open the BBB profile and read the accreditation date, the rating, the complaint history and the customer reviews. Read the complaints, not only the score.
- Ask us for the certificate of insurance before you sign anything, and read the coverage dates on it rather than only the carrier name.
- Tell us if anything does not match. If a number, a name or a date on this page disagrees with what a state database shows you, the state database is right and we want the correction. Email or call and we will fix the page.

Being transparent about credentials is easy. Being transparent about the mess is the part that actually earns anything, so: this business has appeared over time under several different addresses across directory sites, at least one of which carries a postal code that does not exist for that street, and it has more than one social profile competing for the same audience. It does, and we would rather point at it than hope you do not notice. Google's Local Services panel shows a Maryland expiration of 8/13/26 and the BBB profile shows 8/15/26. We are treating the Maryland state database as the authority and correcting whichever third-party listing is wrong. The underlying licence number is the same in both places, which is the part that matters for verification.
Which address is the real one?
The office address is the one printed on this page and in the footer of every page on this site. Several older directory listings still carry addresses this business has used previously, and at least one third-party listing carries a postal code that is not valid for its street. Those listings are being corrected.
