This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and United Developers ("UD Roofing," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, web applications, dashboards, mobile or progressive web applications, instant satellite roof quote tool, AI chat and voice assistants, and any related software, tools, and content we make available (together, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, United Developers grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes related to evaluating, requesting, or receiving our home-improvement services. This is a license to use the Platform, not a sale; we retain all rights not expressly granted.
You agree not to, and not to permit others to: (a) copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the Platform; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (c) access the Platform to build a competing product or service; (d) use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, scrape, or harvest data from the Platform without our written permission; (e) interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its servers, or related systems; (f) remove or obscure any proprietary notices; or (g) use the Platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
The Platform and all of its content, features, and functionality — including software, text, images, logos, the "United Developers" and "UD Roofing" names and marks, designs, and the look and feel — are owned by United Developers or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in this Agreement transfers any ownership to you.
If you submit information through the Platform — such as your name, contact details, property address, photos, or messages — you represent that you have the right to provide it, and you grant United Developers a license to use that information to respond to you, provide and improve our services, and as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.
The instant satellite roof quote, AI chat and voice assistants, and any figures or guidance produced by the Platform are preliminary and informational only. They are not contracts, not final pricing, and not professional, legal, financial, or insurance advice. Final scope and pricing come only from a written agreement after an on-site inspection. Our AI assistants cannot bind United Developers.
The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services (for example mapping, satellite imagery, analytics, financing partners, or messaging providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. United Developers is not responsible for third-party services or content.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data or estimate will be accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Developers and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform. Nothing in this Agreement limits any rights you have under a signed project contract or under Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, or District of Columbia consumer-protection law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you violate this Agreement or for any other reason. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends and you must stop using the Platform. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive termination.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your home state (Virginia, Pennsylvania, or the District of Columbia) requires otherwise. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, unless applicable law provides you a non-waivable right to another venue.
Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and SMS Terms.
