About the Role

What this job really is

Sales Representatives (also called Project Specialists or Closers) are the engine of a storm-restoration company. You meet homeowners after a hail or wind event, perform a thorough roof inspection, document damage with photos, and guide them through the insurance and replacement process. Industry top performers in the DMV routinely earn $120K–$250K+ on uncapped commission.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities

Run company-provided and self-generated inspection appointments
Inspect roofs safely and document damage with photos
Meet insurance adjusters on-site and advocate for a full, fair scope
Present financing and good/better/best options, then close
Manage your pipeline in our CRM from lead to signed contract
Hand off cleanly to production and keep the homeowner updated

What You Bring

What we look for

Comfortable on ladders/roofs and working outdoors
Self-motivated, coachable, and competitive
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, smartphone
Sales or customer-facing experience a plus (we train the rest)
Willingness to work some evenings/weekends when homeowners are home

A Day in the Life

What a typical day looks like

Morning huddle and pipeline review with your team lead
Two to four company-booked inspections across your DMV territory
Climb the roof, photo-document hail and wind damage, and build the homeowner’s report
Meet an insurance adjuster on site to walk the damage and advocate for a full, fair scope
Present good/better/best options at the kitchen table and sign the job
Update your CRM and hand the signed contract to production before dinner
