We waterproof before we finish
Drywall over a damp foundation wall is the most common basement mistake in the region. Every project starts with a moisture assessment — grading, gutters, downspouts, foundation cracks, humidity, and sump condition. If waterproofing or drainage work is needed, it goes in first and it's priced in writing before finish work begins. That order is not negotiable, because it's the difference between a basement that lasts and one that molds.
